No4Denmark.com vs. SupportDenmark.com, or Why The Current Islamic Campaign Won't Work

While going through the Blogosphere reading posts on both sides of the crisis, I noticed that some sites have buttons or banners to show support for either side, a quick glance through No4Denmark.com and SupportDenmark.com clearly showed why the Islamic world is failing to explain its point of view to the west.

No4Denmark.com is an Arabic-only site, the welcome message translates to:

The origin of the problem:

Not long ago, about 3 months, a very well-known Danish newspaper, with high credibility among the Danish nation, started a contest for drawing the best caricature of Prophet Muhammed, readers sent more than one hundred drawings, and 12 were published, picturing the Prophet wearing a hat filled with grenades and rockets, and praying in humiliating ways, those drawings were published for weeks, approved and agreed upon by the Danish government, and welcomed by the Danish people.

[...]

The site goes on fueling the problem, exaggerating and lying (contest? hundreds of drawings? Approved and welcomed? Come on!).

The site doesn't mention anywhere in the welcome message or news section that the newspaper apologized, it doesn't provide any references to backup its claims, or an English (let alone Danish) page to explain its cause.

On the other hand, SupportDenmark.com contains short-to-the-point paragraphs explaining the facts, with links, and translations to many languages (including Arabic).

The funny thing is that No4Denmark.com is running a poll on whether to create an English version of the site or not! Duh!

Once the Islamic world realizes that it needs to explain its points in a logical manner, and rely on facts not emotions, it would be possible to start solving problems.

I'm seriously pissed off at burning the Danish and Norwegian embassies in Damascus by the way, what a bunch of extremist morons who did this, no idea how this would help their cause.
