I was a witness. Two months a go poultry meat was more than enough in the syrian markets. Those who were asking for were minority. The majority were keep themselves in the safe side.
floud of news about birds flu were every where. One of my relatives lost more than 1000,000 SYP . He has a polutry farm. The price of KG declined to 25 SYP. It was a disaster for them. A lot of farmers stopped their farms. The quantities of Polutry meat has declined.
That decline reflects on the price of KG. Sources in syrian market said that these prices are flying. The KG of poultry meat has reached 120 SYP. If we compare these prices with goats meat which are over 500 SYP we can get a conclusion that those who can eat meat in syria are the minority .
