this is my third day on my short holiday in Damsucs. i noticed that i'm acting exactly the way i used to critisize those (3'rbatlieh ) when they would come and start nagging about how dirty damscus is , how awuful our airport is...how much our traffic is going like crazy.. and so on. i actually never felt that damscus is a dirty city, i never saw the traffic as awful like this be4, and i hated our airport, this airport should be destroyed .. i can't believe that this ugly place is the gate to enter Damscus. what made me more furious is the office of 93 shinning in the darkness of the airport! The sight of the Syrians flags every where is really cheerful... signs saluting our president.. i love my president, i know he's doing his best ..but too much dogs around him, every syrian i know back in kuwait loves him too. i had 2 holidays be4 but this time I feel myself a little bit stranger , i actually hate this feeling and i hate to feel that damascus is not as perfect as it used to be for me. but one thing i'm sure of is that i miss it like hell , i inshallah will go and wander everywhere, and ofcourse will eat shawrma and 7oms and flafel kteeer.. and drink a lot of water ...the tase and smell of these things is like shit back there. but i won't open my mouth like a 3'rbatlieh...yuck al3'rbatlieh.. we are a bunch of stupid who preffered to have a good salary and a clean organized city with its bright airport rather than to live on their motherland. anyway, welcome back . |
